Taylor Danielle Watson of Burkesville, Ky., has received the Lindsey Wilson Duo County Scholarship. She will attend the liberal arts college in the fall.
The $3,000 tuition scholarship is given annually to a first-time, full-time Lindsey Wilson freshman from Duo County’s service area, which includes parts of Adair, Cumberland and Russell counties.
The daughter of Danny and Kendra Watson of Burkesville, Watson plans to major in elementary education at Lindsey Wilson.
“Duo County is proud to continue this partnership with Lindsey Wilson College and understands how important it is to support our local youth’s pursuit of higher education,” says Eric West, Duo County Telecom’s Director of Marketing. Duo County has supported the scholarship program for more than a decade at Lindsey Wilson.
“Because of Duo County’s commitment to our young people’s educational needs, this region has a bright future,” said Lindsey Wilson Fund Director Brady Button.
